It is political season in Nevada, and when that happens, two words come to mind in every political junkie’s mind:
Jon Ralston.
Jon will share his insights into the 2006 Campaign and the upcoming primary election at the next Women in Communication Luncheon, to be held on Thursday, August 10, 2006 at Maggiano's in the Fashion Show. Schmoozing starts at 11:30am.
This is one of the most intense and interesting political campaigns in our state’s history, and Jon Ralston has his finger on the pulse. An in-demand speaker year-round, but especially right before election time, Women in Communication is proud to have Jon speak to us, just five days before Election Day.
Jon is host of Face to Face on Las Vegas One, and is frequently seen on KLAS/tv8 as a guest commentator. He is also a columnist for the Las Vegas Sun and In Business Las Vegas, and is publisher of RalstonFlash.com, a daily e-mail newsletter containing insider political and business information.
Jon Ralston has been writing about Las Vegas for over two decades. He came to Las Vegas in 1983 as the night police reporter for the Las Vegas Review Journal, later covering general assignment and county government, before becoming a political reporter in 1986.
Jon’s hometown is Buffalo, New York, and he holds a B.A. in English from Cornell University, and a M.A. in Journalism from the University of Michigan.
